I would say this market is alot like a flea market or a swap meet back at home but there is something very special about this place that only takes place on the weekends. Vintage items that you can only find in London, live musicians of all genre of music, aroma of coffee & crepes, and also of course people from all around the world...
Little old fashion knick knacks and tea sets reminded me of my mom growing up. She loved collecting tea cup sets.
As you're walking around, you are so amazed by all the unique pieces and people, it is very easy to get lost in your thoughts trying to put a story to the piece and how it ended up at this market.
Ly, my very handsome model is excited to be visiting All Saints store located in the middle of Portobello Road. I appreciated the visual display and the feel it created as I walked into the store.
My jaw dropped as I walked into the store when I saw these endless vintage sewing machines. The beauty of it is that these are all vintage and you can only imagine how many garments were made with each of these machines.
As you walk down this road, you see a lot of art works. Photography, vintage signs, old books, paintings... I purchased a few photographs of Banksy's graffiti and also an original edition of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll for my sister who collects children's literature books from all around the world. It definitely put a smile on my face, imagining her reaction when she sees my discovery. It was definitely a great morning :)
